Happy Holidays from INDICRO

Thank you for your support for INDICRO, our online hub supporting medical product development through expert collaboration. The INDICRO team wish you a wonderful Christmas. We look forward to 2024 as we have many exciting developments in the pipeline for our community. Since INDICRO’s inception in May 2023, we have been involved in a range of events and engagements:

    • In May our Founder, Trish Parry gave her first presentation on the vision for INDICRO, which was received with enthusiasm at the 13th Clinical Trials Strategic Summit in London
    • Then at the Outsourcing Clinical Trials conference in London in September, Trish Parry met with colleagues and members of the Life Sciences community to discuss all things collaboration
    • Trish Parry was invited to the Vax-Hub Sustainable launch on 8th December in London. This venture focuses on improving vaccine manufacturing globally. Trish was able to draw from her experience in the Vaccine Taskforce to share considerations for manufacturing prior to clinical launch.
  • We attended many of the BIA events including the BIA Regional Focus Group in Stevenage and the Future of UK Regulation in London both in September, TechBio, London in October, the BioProcessUK conference in Brighton in November and Women in Biotech in December.  These event were a great opportunity to network with the wider Biotech community and find out about the latest innovations.

September was the Stage 1 Launch of the INDICRO Hub in Shendish Manor, Hemel Hempstead, where we showcased our platform through a presentation and demo over drinks and dinner with our first customers and founding partners. We followed up the launch with a Lunch and Learn with our clinical tribe, Independent Clinical Research Freelance Network (ICRFN) and other Freelancers in October. In October we also delivered our first Good Clinical Practice update webinar.

We’re delighted to have sponsored three events this year, namely:

  • Clinical Trial Strategic Summit, London in May
  • Festival of Biologics, Basel,Switzerland in October
  • Clinical Research Industry Leaders Think Tank, Liverpool in November.

The Festival of Biologics was our first overseas conference where we were represented by our core team: Trish Parry, our Founder and MD; Yvonne Adebola, Director of Communications; Lucy Parry, Marketing Assistant and Tia Waghorn, Community Support Assistant at our exhibition stand. Trish Parry gave a presentation on INDICRO’s Business Model. Trish was also invited to be a panellist at the Clinical Research Industry Leaders Think Tank.

We would not have made the amazing progress we have this year without our amazing team which grew from four in August to six by December. We are very thankful to Sally Ashkuri for her strategic and operational advice over the past several months and Clare Topham for her technical and project management support.
