Each member brings unique skills to compliment perfectly those of the rest of the team.
Trish Parry
Trish Parry MRQA CSci is the Founder and Managing Director of INDICRO. She has more than 30 years’ experience in clinical research as a clinical research professional and GCP trainer, delivering these services as a freelancer/consultant, through Otus Clinical Services, since 2004.
Her experience has come from a broad career path including large and small Pharma and CROs in various roles including clinical research associate, clinical project manager, Head of Quality and Training and Director of Clinical Operations. Since June 2021, during the COVID pandemic and until business as usual, she has been a Clinical Subject Matter Expert in the UK Government’s Vaccine Taskforce (now COVID Vaccines Unit, UKHSA), ensuring high quality and effective COVID vaccines were delivered to the UK population.
Trish is one of the founders of the Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) Trainers Forum, is Co-Chair of the ICR GCP and Ethics Forum, a co-chair of one of the sub-groups in the UK Clinical Trials Talent Taskforce (UK CTTT) and is an active Committee Member of the UK based Independent Clinical Research Freelance Network (ICRFN). She is a Chartered Scientist and member of Research Quality Assurance (RQA) and BioIndustry Association (BIA).
Lucy Parry
Lucy combines her Marketing Assistant role in INDICRO with being a part-time clinical trial administrator and studying for her Psychology degree at Aberdeen University. She has a talent for marketing, having raised over £5000 by fund-raising for a volunteering trip to Uganda and for her studies by setting up a commercial enterprise making and selling beeswax candles and her art, and promoting these products on the website she designed and set up.
Tia Waghorn
Tia is a Community Support Assistant for INDICRO. She began her career in 1991 as a teaching assistant at an international school in Kuala Lumpur, ultimately rising to Head Directress of the Clarendon Montessori School in Abbots Langley, which she helped start up.
In 2019 she embarked on a career change, studying Business Administration at Douglas College, Vancouver. Tia excelled at this course, covering business communication and administrative procedures, along with office productivity. After graduating with honours, Tia joined Canada’s largest musical instrument retailer, Long & McQuade, where she interviewed and onboarded new music teachers, trained and supervised new lesson staff, and managed the store’s supplies, invoice payments and debt recovery.
At INDICRO, Tia focuses on maintaining and refining new processes to support the business while enhancing customer experience and communication. She coordinates internal and external resources to drive workflow efficiencies and complement the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring that the company’s priorities are upheld.
Yvonne Adebola
Yvonne Adebola MSc is the Director of Communications for INDICRO. Her career began in clinical research collecting patient acceptability data for home-test medical devices. She has gone on to work in a range of Life Sciences organisations – understanding FDA requirements for electronic clinical outcome assessments in trials, license variations in the MHRA to medical writing within an agency and then as a Freelancer/Consultant.
Yvonne has also worked on the development of a range of websites and apps for healthcare professional and patient audiences. Now specialising mainly in clinical research and communications she is excited to support INDICRO in facilitating connections to improve health outcomes.
